Contents: Azithromycin dihydrate
Indications: Treatment of infections of the upper & lower resp tract, skin & soft tissues, urinary tract & genitals. Prophylaxis against MAC infections in patients infected w/ HIV. Treatment of DMAC infections in patients w/ advanced HIV.
Dosage: Urinary tract & genital infections Adult 4 cap once daily. Other infections Adult, childn & infants >45 kg 2 cap for a period of 3 days. Prophylaxis against MAC infections 1,200 mg as a single dose once wkly. Treatment of DMAC infections 600 mg once daily.
Administration: Should be taken on an empty stomach: Take 1 hr before or 2 hr after meals.
